A while ago I was contacted by a strange man who wanted me to fuse him this… thing.
I was going to turn him down. He was sort of shady, and Legendary fusions cost big bucks to produce, not to mention the difficulty and price of obtaining DNA!
But somehow he already had some Palkia cells on him, so I decided: What the hell, if he’s rich enough to get his hands on Legendary DNA, he’s rich enough to pay for a FUSEmon, right?
Plus there’d be some DNA left over, which he said I could keep if I knocked the price down a bit and I know a bargain when I see one!”
“So he gave me half the payment and I got to work.
Couple weeks later I stick this monstrosity into a FUSEball, make a call, and the man comes back to pick it up and finish paying me.
Everything’s great.
Except then somehow the FUSEmon breaks outta the ball, snatches the guy up in one of those weird head hand things, and disappears through a god damn dimensional portal. With… the rest of my money...
You know, and the guy, of course.”
“And then, just my luck, turns out the shady guy is important in some other region. So there’s this biiiig investigation launched.
Next thing I know, they shut down my lab, confiscate the Palkia DNA, and I’m living in a crappy motel with a blue Slowpoke.
For the next 8 months.”
“No sign of the FUSEmon, but the guy randomly showed up a couple weeks after they let me back into my lab. Apparently he’s still catatonic.
So I’m not getting paid, but at least that means he can’t sue me, heh.”

I really enjoyed working on this one, to be honest. And I think I’ve got the shading juuuuust about right.

I love the way this looks. Also, why did it take the money? What could it want with it? Unless the guy planned it to take the money and ised it and somehow got catatonic from whatever he used.
